FAQ's!

1. What is the difference between Counseling and Therapy?

Counseling addresses a specific issue and is focused on behavior. It will target a particular symptom, problem or situation and the counselor will offer suggestions for managing it. Premarital counseling, which lasts for four sessions, is a type of counseling. If the couple seeking premarital counseling want to each address deeper issues affecting their relationship, such as fears, addictions, depression, early experiences of neglect or sexual abuse, then this would fall into the therapy category.
